Aqua Voice is an AI voice dictation app: you speak, and it writes the text into whatever you are working on. It runs on Mac, Windows, iOS and Android, and transcription is handled by its Avalon model, which Aqua Voice also lists as an API for developers.

The plan structure is simple. Free gives you 1,000 words on the Avalon model with no credit card required. Aqua Voice’s FAQ describes this as a free trial and points to the paid plans once the allowance is used, so it is enough to judge accuracy on your own voice and vocabulary rather than enough to use day to day. Pro removes the word limit and adds Custom Instructions and an expanded Custom Dictionary. Max sits above Pro and is aimed at heavier users: it adds Realtime Mode, which shows words on screen as you speak, a “Send it” voice command, and early access to new features. Both paid individual plans can be billed monthly or annually, and students who sign up with a school email address get 70% off Pro and Max.

For teams, Aqua Voice publishes a single Business plan rather than splitting security features across several tiers. It starts at two seats and includes everything in Max, plus centralized billing, SSO/SAML, SCIM provisioning, advanced reporting, Zero Data Retention and team-wide dictionaries. Larger teams are pointed to sales for volume discounts and active-user billing.

On compliance, Aqua Voice states it is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified and GDPR and HIPAA compliant, and makes its reports available through a Trust Center. If you plan to dictate protected health information, the pricing page asks you to contact the company first to confirm which plans are covered and to discuss BAA terms, so do not assume the individual plans qualify.

The main reasons to look elsewhere are the free tier and platform coverage. Typeless and Wispr Flow both publish a free plan with a weekly word quota, while Aqua Voice offers a one-off 1,000 words. There is also no Linux app listed.
